Next Step Coaching is designed to “come in along side” individuals, couples, parents, groups, pastors and businesses who wish to be internally, externally and eternally shaped as a Christ-Like Servant-Leader.

Next Step Coaching is designed to assist individuals move away from individualism towards a Christ-Like community and collective purposes bigger than ourselves.

  • We invite those who have not considered this systemic approach due to different beliefs to consider these perspectives…but if you are not ready…you are not ready.
  • We at Next Step Coaching have NOT “arrived”. We are human.  We have NOT perfectly figured out ALL the answers. We at Next Step Coaching are “recovering hypocrites”:
  • We struggle on a daily basis with what we teach. BUT we desire to collaborate with others with a humble, broken and teachable attitudes that works through life’s challenges together.

Challenge the Complexity

Challenge the Complexity of the internal and external human condition in all its shame-dysfunction; destructive attitudes and individualistic, unauthentic living that controls our lives (Genesis 3; Genesis 6:5, 8:21, James 4:1-8, Isaiah 58:1-12, Marks 7:21-24, Psalms 51:6; Hebrews 12:3; Psalm 139:23-24)

Condition Their Thinking

Condition their thinking as to WHOSE we are, then WHO we are that shapes our identity and purposes bigger than ourselves . We become who we worship! (Ephesians 1:3-23, Galatians 2:20, James 1:21-27, Matthew 20:24-28, Matthew 5:3-16, Colossians 3:1-4:5, Isaiah 58:1-12)

Commit Our Lives to Christ Jesus

Commit our lives to Christ Jesus our Savior and LORDto receive and thereby grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-13, 2 Peter 3:18), to demonstrate his compassion and purposes (Matt 9:35-38, Revelation 3:14-22), and to do the will of the Father as Jesus did (John 4:31-34, John 17:1-17, John 19:30)

Condition Our Thinking

Condition our thinking and shaping our lives with the reality that all of life has eternal implications: we will ALL give an account for our lives after we die so it matters Who we live for.(Hebrews 9:27, Hebrews 412-13, 1 Corinthians 4:5, Proverbs 15:3, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, Matthew 25:31-46)

Collaborate Through Community

Collaborate through Community as a member of a Local Bible Believing Church: NO ONE grows and matures in isolation. A local Bible Believing Church will seek to fulfill the WHOLE Counsel of God in sound Biblical teaching, Practical discipleship, and Compassionate local and global service to the hurting, orphans, widow, poor, single mothers, and the exploited.  (Ephesians 4:1-31, James 2:1-27, Psalm 19:1-14, Matthew 28:16-20)

Cultivate a Disciplined, Humbled, Teaching Life

Cultivate a disciplined, humble, teachable individual life of thoughtful prayer, systemic study of God’s Word and relevant service to others that is complemented by disciplined humble, teachable collaborative partnerships of thoughtful prayer, systemic study of God’s Word and relevant  service to others.  We become who we associate with! (Philippians 2:2-11, 19-21, 2 Timothy 3:1-17 with 2 Timothy 2:15)

Collaborative Communication & Conflict Resolution

Collaborative communication and conflict resolution skills that seeks to, with a humble and teachable attitude, attend, attune, ask open end questions, affirm, address, acknowledge, be appropriately ashamed where necessary, alternate thinking, apologize and adjust-adapt together towards mature partnerships. (2 Corinthians 5:1-21, James 3:13-18, Matthew 18:1-35, 1 John 1:5-2:2, Genesis 37-50)

Counsel Through Mutual Cooperation

Counsel through mutual cooperation people who hurt who are ready to face their hurt, be equipped to develop skills to move beyond their hurt towards servant leadership in the life’s others, (Ephesians 4:12-16; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Proverbs 20:5; Proverbs 27:17)
